A while back I discovered Google Poetics, an inspired idea for creating ‘found poetry’ through the Google search bar.
The idea is to type a few words, and see what automatic suggestions Google makes. (These alter, by the way, not just over time but also according to which version of Google you’re using, and whether or not you’re signed in.)
The site collects submissions, some of which are silly, some bizarre, some surprisingly touching. Like this one:
Today I found the first one of my own that felt worthy of submitting. Who knows when it might appear on the site (if ever), so I thought I’d share it here.
Rather sad, isn’t it?
